A massive vintage Chinese porcelain centerpiece Bowl. Certainly the largest Chinese porcelain I have ever come across. Unusually decorated with the most detailed and exquisite hand painted polychrome raised enamel decoration. This type of artistic stylized master paintings of dozens of dragons are usually on small Ming vases and miniatures but here we have it on a massive centerpiece.
Measuring 18.25" tall x 19.75" diameter
There are serpents, dragons, insects, wild flowers as well as foliage and other fantastical ferocious animals. Large orange swimming fish with large bulging eyes depicted on interior. No chips, cracks, or restorations. In all original condition. From a Gold Coast Long Island estate.
