A magnificent original hand Knotted 100% Wool Heriz Oriental Rug circa 1970. Fresh out of a gold coast long Island estate with iconic Heriz or serapi design. Cream colored corners. Huge dramatic medallion. Deep navy blue. Desirable pattern. Historic pattern. No synthetic materials. All Wool. Woven in a village noted for carpet making. Consistent with age, the ends like they have less fringe. One corner has 3" as pointed to in one picture old restoration and shows wear. Amazingly fool thick pile throughout.
